Zeng Lingzhe is a Hong Kong and Beijing based architectural
designer, who possesses great passion in introducing inspiring experience to
people’s daily lives. Respecting and comprehending local cultures is the grounding
principal for him to consider any design interventions, from which he strives
to visualize a positive and sustainable future through spatial strategies. Zeng
believes that architecture is essentially a form of art while bearing practical
responsibilities for the public.
Zeng practiced as assistant architect in MIST
Architects in Shenzhen from 2021 to 2022, where he was assigned as project
architect for three pavilion designs in “Glow Shenzhen 2021”, an urban-scale lighting design
festival. He also participated as Architectural Internship at gmp Architects (Beijing
office) in 2022, and DNA Architects (Beijing) in 2019.
Zeng Lingzhe is now obtaining the degree of Master of
Architecture at the University of Hong Kong (2023-25). He graduated with a bachelor’s
degree in Social Science (Architectural Studies) from the Chinese University of
Hong Kong (2017-21). Through studying and travelling during the exchange semester
at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (2024 summer), Zeng developed a strong interest
in using photography as an analytical tools in design and research.
